Hedgemonkey Homegrown is an environmentally friendly smallholding, specializing in pedigree rare breed pigs naturally reared outdoors, in small family groups on our organically managed paddocks.

The breed we keep is the Tamworth. Famous for its lean pork, and considered by those in the know to be the tastiest of all. The Tamworth is easily spotted by its ginger coat, prick ears and long snout. It is the breed most closely resembling the wild forest pigs of ancient England. We are pleased to be working with the British Pig Association to help keep this endangered breed alive.

We supply a complete range of pork products and charcuterie. We believe our dry cured bacon, handmade sausages, and air dried salami and chorizo are the finest available. The usual cuts (joints, chops etc) are also available fresh and frozen.

We at Hedgemonkey Homegrown take pride in the fact that we breed, raise, and butcher all our animals on the farm, ensuring complete traceability and the quality of the product.
